How to use: Use 1-2 times a day to cleanse your face. In their soapy experience, a little less lather in their soaps as compared to other soap bars may be due to their gentle nourishing formula and the mineral content in your water source. Here is a video of my snaps altogether, and how my skin looked a few days afterwards. It was so nice to get pampered on the run, AND not feel bad about the cost. For about $70 you get the results from something that usually costs $150 minimum.
Also, because it is like the dry bar for your skin, the cost is NOT even close to how much it is at regular spas. This is a fun pampering day for a group of girlfriends to do together! It made my skin feel fresh and new. I made sure my skin was very hydrated with aquaphor, and my skin would gently peel away. The trick is to leave with the bag of goodies they offer, along with the instructions on how to care for your skin. My skin was pretty much done peeling by the third day. The next day you look like you have a sunburn, and the third/fourth day your skin will peel. The first day you need to leave the peel on for 8 hours, then gently wash it off. It sounds like it could be painful, but I didn't have much in the way of discomfort, and I was really happy with my results. It is a chemical peel that takes off all of the dead skin, and peel it away to reveal fresh new skin.
They also offer peels, which is what I did. This can be done on the same day as an event to make your skin look extra fresh. The Face Bar offers a "glow and go," which is a hydrating mini facial that makes your face fresh and dewy. They have their very own line of skincare, along with the amazing candles. The room has beautiful chandeliers, glamours mirrors, rustic/chic decor, and an earthy moss sign that makes you feel like you are at an expensive garden party. When you walk in you are welcomed by a light, fresh, and slightly feminine scent from their very own candle line. It is a quick in and out pampering session, only unlike the blow dry, your skin has lasting results, especially if it is something you keep up with.
